Hi all, I have read loads of threads on the wood dash kits available on ebay and the like. My question is one about fit... I have a C70 with the aluminium dash inserts, volvo want me to extend the mortgage to replace it with wood. So I thought I might try one of the stick on kits. 1. Will they stick onto the aluminium one and fit, or do I need to remove the old trim fisrt. 2. either way, are they any good. I will go for a genuine wooden kit, not simulated, but want to make sure the fit is good and does not show the original trim from underneath. Any advice, views or comments welcome thanks all Simon

They fit but look fake and stuck on , which is exactly what they are of course ... they are let down around the lettering and numbering around the heater controls

I can write up some instructions on fitting if you want. I did the same thing with my dash...twice! I'd be interested in the aluminium bits when you've finished as well...
