I have a question about those driving lights in front of the grill on many user's forums, are they OEM? Where can I get them, and would I just wire them to the side markers (orange lights) so they turn on when just the running ligts are on and stay on when the heaglights are turned on?

Dude, You've got a few beauties there. Could you post bigger pickies and induce some drooling. Your cars seem to be in showroom nick. Best of luck with them:Banane45:

Des, I think that was a mis-placed response to apowden's other thread with the pics included.

Hi Des, Yep, sorry, a post mix-up. However, judging by the thumbnails in you signature area, your cars seem to be in good nick too. Regards Rob:)

Since I'm from over here too (Maryland), here's my advice. If you want cheap lights, Wal Mart and most of the auto parts places have them. They come with all the wiring and hook up independant of the vehicle's lights. I went to a scrap yard and got a Volvo fog light switch and wired them through that so I have a factory switch on the panel. If you want high end lights (Cibie, Bosch, etc.) I'd look online in some of the more high end auto accessory sites. As for the rules governing them, they have to be aimed correctly so they don't blind oncoming traffic obviously, and there is a limit to how bright they can be, since some of the high end stores offer racing lights illegal for street use (check before ordering). They are also supposed to be wired so that they can't come on independent of the lights, and they have to turn off automatically when the high beams are turned on. My car, and most other home installations aren't wired that way. As long as you don't blind a cop with all six lights or drive around after dark with just the driving lights on, you shouldn't have a problem.

Heh, thanks for all the quick responses! I will hit up wal-mart probably saturday (damn work lol) but Id rather have a good set, I want it to look fairly stock and dont want those cheesy blue fog lenses on a lot of ugly after-market jobs... Anywho I will try to get more pictures of both after they get a good cleaning, should be at the carwash working on sunday. Later all for now! Alex
