Can someone help me with html code? I want to have a simple client page that will (by itself) list any mix (mp3) file I upload to the same directory where the index.html file is on the page. Kinda like an FTP listing but just the files and maybe a link to play them directly? Can I code this "natively" with just HTML and Javascript or similar? If so, can you provide some sample source code? Thanks.
How about just making a folder, put the mp3 files in the folder and then display the contents of that folder inside of an iframe? That would probably be the simplest... <iframe src="http://boray.wontek.net/petra/" width="580" height="606" name="songs"></iframe>
Have you considered html5 ? It supports native audio tags, so it should play fine, without any FLash or 3d party player in your page (given your client has a rather recent browser). I would recommend to avoid JavaScript if possible, as some browsers (IE for instance) has it disabled by default, and shows warning messages which can scare the user...
You need PHP to code that kind of things. That said, as someone mentionned, the easiest solution is a Soundcloud player.

I had a similar goal in mind; possibly the solution for this is also Soundcloud, but just in case there's another way... I want to upload lots of audio files to a rented server and then play them back on an android phone via the internet. It would be great to use a podcast player (eg PocketCast) to play them. Maybe a RSS feed would be a solution? How to set it up?

So, I'd probably use Soundcloud also, but if you really don't want to do that, then you can probably do something similar as follows. Note I'm using PHP because its probably going to be the easiest thing to setup. Easiest doesn't always mean best tho ;) Note this is PHP5, if you only have PHP4 on your server, then I'd politely ask your hosting company to get with the times... Code:
