Poorly V40 smoking badly on start up

Im so sorry to hear about what had happend. If the pistons are fried its best to fit a new engine because there may be damage to the sleves aswell. The cost of labour for rebuilding engines today is so expensive that it actually works out cheaper just to fit a new engine. Let us know when the car is running again. Werner
