Yep, the Nomads have that resonant bump EQ behavior if you cut/boost at the same time. Honestly, it isn't much different than creating that same curve in something like ReaEQ minus any analog type processing AFAICT.
@ Glennbo _ Understand ... kinda stuck with Waveshell et al given some past (and decent) Waves plugins I favor ( Abbey Road TG Mastering, Scheps Omni Channel, some Electric Pianos ). @ karbomusic _ I lost track a bit too with Bernie Torelli passing in 2016 and a period of quiet. I agree, there are some gems scattered thru their offerings. Thanks guys. Have plenty now to guide today's choices. !

I can tell ya' the number of posts that go on and on and on in various audio forums would be 1% of what they are if people didn't have graphical representations of the audio and could only use their ears. :)
I really like the Puigtecs, but I honestly don't think it matters either way. Most of the online scuttlebutt is bs anyway. I like how the Puigtec includes the EQP-1A and the MEQ-5. That's two for one. You could also look at the Softube Tube-Tech collections. They're on sale right now. Black Rooster Audio also:

TDR slick eq is a fine option IMO. I can't find it right now but I'm pretty sure it does the push pull trick. There is a free version wich might just be enough it's fully functional. Serial for registration no hassle(paid version) 4 different models in 1, 4 saturation types, auto gain compensation, yada,yada.. I have the paid version and it's about all I use it killed pretty much everything else I owned.
